Turns Out Prince Louis Has a Green Thumb Just Like His Mom, Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton is passing down her love of gardening to her three children, especially Prince Louis.

In honor of Children's Hospice Week, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the Nook center in Norfolk, where she helped plant a sensory garden and met with staff from East Anglia Children’s Hospices to thank them for their continued work. While there, the 38-year-old royal worked closely with EACH volunteers and spent time with two families that have been cared for by the organization.

According to Tracy Rennie, EACH's director of care, the duchess seemed right at home while planting flowers. "She didn’t need the gardening gloves we offered her," Rennie said, per ITV. She "even plunged her hands into the earth with that massive engagement ring on!”

As it turns out, Middleton has also been teaching her three children how to garden at home. Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, are all growing their own flowers.

"The children are really enjoying growing their sunflowers,” Middleton said. “Louis's is winning so George is a little grumpy about that!" His green thumb isn’t the only thing Prince Louis gets from his mother. In a throwback photo recently shared for Father’s Day, a young Middleton looks exactly like her 2-year-old son.

And no, we’re not just talking about the dirty blonde hair. The toddler also seems to have acquired his mother's smile, dark eyes and rotund cheeks. Not to mention, they both have the same exact nose.

Now if we could just get a look at those royal sunflowers...
