The Cambridge Children (Particularly Charlotte) Apparently Love Performing Shows at Home

It appears Prince William and Kate Middleton have three mini entertainers on their hands.

Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium theater. While there, Middleton chatted with guests about her three children: Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (4) and Prince Louis (1).

While speaking with 14-year-old Nuala Peberby, who stars in the new Mary Poppins musical, the duchess revealed that the kids regularly put on shows at their Kensington Palace home.

“[Kate] said that her children love performing at home, particularly Charlotte,” she said, according to Hello! magazine.

Peberby went on to say that Middleton commended her for maintaining a work-school balance. “She told us how lucky we were to be on stage in the West End and asked how we managed to do it with all our schoolwork,” she added. “I can’t tell you how exciting it was to meet them.”

The duchess also spoke with a 6-year-old acrobat named Aurelia and confirmed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte also enjoy doing gymnastics, like handstands and cartwheels. Middleton even had to come up with an excuse because they wanted to attend the Royal Variety Performance.

“Not on a school night!” she said, according to Peberby.

During the event, Middleton wore a floor-length gown by Alexander McQueen. The dress featured a black lace overlay with a sweetheart neckline.

Here’s hoping we get a glimpse of these home videos.
