Kate Middleton Is Serving Us Brand-New Hair for Fall—and We’re Loving the Look

Kate Middleton is keeping up with the seasons at least when it comes to her hair. The 38-year-old royal just made some major changes to her look (and no, we’re not just talking about her clothes).

ICYMI: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently paid an official visit to one of London’s most iconic bagel joints, Beigel Bake. During the trip, the royal couple helped to separate ingredients, knead the dough and assisted the staff in making fresh bagels.

And while we’ll be the first to admit that seeing the duo make our all-time favorite breakfast was a treat in itself, we couldn't help but notice there was something different about the duchess’s hair. However, we couldn’t quite put our finger on it.

Luckily, Cosmo clarified the changes for us—an addition of something called halo highlights. What are they exactly? Per the outlet, halo highlights are “small, face-framing, barely-there chunks of lightened hair around the face which add brightness, while keeping the actual hair itself full of movement thanks to the texture added by the bleach.” Who knew?

The new hair is the latest in a line of haircuts and colorings for Middleton. Early this summer, the mother of three ditched her golden brown lob for a lighter look (highlights) with face-framing layers and shades of honey. A few weeks later, she embraced the new locks by rocking a beautiful blow out accompanied by beachy waves.

While we often find it difficult to keep up with all of Middleton’s engagements, it seems like keeping up with her beauty changes is becoming just as challenging.
