Kate Middleton's Mom Reveals the Holiday Toy Her Daughter Was Obsessed with as a Child

Carole Middleton has offered some interesting insight into Kate Middleton's childhood.

The mother of the Duchess of Cambridge revealed on Instagram that Kate used to be a big fan of a certain stocking-stuffer—and it's got nothing to do with dolls or pink accessories.

On her Party Pieces Instagram page, Carole shared a photo of the toy in question: a small Santa figure. The caption reads, "Carole says: 'I find that the smallest present can be the one that gives the most enjoyment and entertainment to children. I remember that when they were young, my children found flexi-figures like these totally absorbing.'"

It continues, "A good choice of stocking fillers can give one extra time, undisturbed in bed on Christmas Day. Invaluable! Yours, Carole."

It looks like Carole has already figured out the ideal gift to pass on to her royal grandkids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. And while the holidays will be looking very different for the royal family this year, Carole revealed in November that she'll be connecting with the kids virtually for a special tree decorating session.

On Instagram, she wrote, "We may not be able to get together but, after a year like 2020, we need to remember what’s really important this Christmas. For me, what really matters is that my family feels connected. I normally let my grandchildren help me decorate the tree. This year, I’ll ask them by video call to decide which decoration should go where. It may need to be tastefully rearranged later…!"

Sounds like the Cambridge clan have a lot to look forward to this Christmas!
