Jennifer Lopez Shares Rare Makeup-Free Selfie, Looks Fab

Jennifer Lopez is basically the queen of glam. She switches up her hairstyle seemingly every day, going from a waist-length pony to a sleek bob like it’s NBD. Whether on tour or on the red carpet, her makeup is always flawless. And her outfits? The woman has major style (and her own makeup line). So imagine our surprise when the 50-year-old singer shared a rare, pared-down and makeup-free selfie on Instagram yesterday.

The Hustlers star posted a slideshow including a pic of her and her 11-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and captioned it, “Home sweet home. Sitting here with my coconuts and feeling so grateful. THANK YOU to the @lafilmcritics Association! I am humbled and honored. #Ramona #hustlersmovie #LAFCA.”

Lopez may be barefaced in the pic but she looks simply luminous. Her skin is glowing (and really even-toned somehow) and taunt and we’re over here trying to figure out how she kinda looks better without makeup than with it.

In the past, the “Jenny from the Block” singer has revealed that she owes her youthful skin to genetics (her mother and grandma both have incredible visages) and not drinking (she’s never liked the taste). It could also have something to do with her skincare line or her rumored propensity for practically bathing in Crème de la Mer.

If you click to the right in the slideshow, you’ll notice she included the announcement of her LA Film Critics Association win. She’s garnered a lot of praise for her portrayal of an industrious exotic dancer named Ramona in Hustlers. So much so, that some are speculating she could even be nominated for an Oscar. That’s a pretty big deal.

Critical praise or not, Lopez’s skin is absolutely flawless.
