Jennifer Garner Accidentally Texted a Photo of Herself to the Wrong Number

Many of us have texted the wrong number at some point in our lives, and it's such a common mistake that even celebrities make it.

Jennifer Garner just revealed her experience in her latest Instagram post, where she disclosed that she texted the wrong person and it led to some hilarious results. The 13 Going on 30 actress posted a screenshot of a conversation between herself and someone who, she thought, was a man named Carl.

“Carl--this is Jen G. Here comes proof,” Garner says in her first message. However, immediately after she sent the message, the actress received a response that said, “Wrong number.” Unfortunately for Garner, she had already sent a selfie to prove her identity, which she followed with two messages that said “Hahaha” and “Well this is me!” The rest of the conversation was cut off, but we can see that the actress said she was looking for somebody she used to know.

Along with the text conversation, Garner wrote, “You know the one time you take a selfie to prove to someone you’re you? And get a ‘wrong number’ message just as it’s gone out into the world? Well, it’s humbling, isn’t it. #IfYouAreWorkingWithCarlLumbly #PleaseTellHimImLookingForHim #BristowAndDixon.”

Users loved Garner's post, like hairstylist Jenny Cho, who said, “Hilarious and also Love it.” Angela Kinsey commented a laughing emoji, while Rita Wilson wrote, “No no no!!!! No way!!”

Garner loves to keep us laughing on her Instagram, whether she's reposting memes, sharing goofy throwbacks from her youth or carrying her cat around in a pouch on her sweatshirt. And we're living for this relatable content, too.

We just hope she is able to find Carl (and we'll be keeping our fingers crossed that we get a surprise text from Jen G. in the future).
