Jane Lynch is returning to the small screen in an extremely fitting role.

The Glee alum, 59, is set to host and executive produce an all-new reboot of the popular game show, The Weakest Link. NBC recently confirmed that it’s developing a modern-day version of the series, which will include 13 sharp-witted episodes.

In a statement, Lynch revealed she couldn’t be more thrilled to lead the remake of The Weakest Link. “I’ve been a longtime fan of this game-changing quiz show since it first debuted,” she said. “Each time the phrase ‘You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye,’ passes my lips, it will be with great reverence and delight.” That’s what we like to hear.

The Weakest Link follows a group of contestants as they answer a series of trivia questions in an attempt to earn prize money. Consecutive right answers create “chains” that increase the amount of cash the question is worth. At the end of each round, the contestants eliminate one player, dubbed “The Weakest Link,” from the game.

The Weakest Link originally premiered in 2000 in the U.K. Thanks to its popularity, it inspired several international versions, like the American one that aired on NBC from 2001 to 2003. Unlike the original series, the new show will feature multiple modern twists. A social media element, perhaps?

We can already hear Lynch mumbling the show’s iconic catchphrase: “You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye.”
