Um, Gwyneth Paltrow Saves All of Her Red Carpet Looks for Her Daughter (& We’re Super Jealous)

Good genes aren’t the only thing Gwyneth Paltrow's teenage daughter inherited from her mom. Turns out, Apple also got the Goop founder's love of fashion.

During a rare Zoom interview with People, the 47-year-old Oscar-winning actress opened up about her daughter’s fashion sense and the special gifts she’s been saving for her. “She loves to play in my closet,” Paltrow told the outlet about Apple, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin. “I have saved everything for her for 15 years before I had her. I save everything. Not everything, but every red carpet look I have saved for her.” Talk about a lucky girl.

And while they are similar when it comes to couture, the mother-daughter-duo actually differ when it comes to glam. “She's very, very into makeup, which I'm not,” the actress continued. “She knows how to do it perfect winged eyeliner. She gave herself acrylic nails. She's a beauty queen.”

It seems their shared love of fashion has come in handy. Recently, Paltrow recruited her look-alike daughter (and her mother Blythe Danner) to help model her latest designs from her debut G. Label Dress Collection. In a photo shared to Instagram, both Paltrow and her daughter looked chic in polka dots while the Meet the Fockers star was glowing in hot pink.

While Paltrow rarely shares photos of or information about her children, she’s been getting more personal during self-isolation. Last month, she posted a snap on her personal Instagram account featuring the actress and Apple working out together.

We can’t wait to see Apple that gorgeous latte-hued tulle gown by Fendi.
