Marvel Fans Are Going Crazy Over This Thanos Easter Egg on Google (Don’t Worry, No Spoilers)

Avengers fans, listen up. There’s something very important you need to Google right now. (Don’t worry, there are no Endgame spoilers here.)

If you didn’t know, Avengers: Endgame was officially released today (!), and Google has something special in store for Marvel fans to celebrate the occasion. Whether you’ve seen the highly anticipated film yet or not, you can still participate in the Thanos experience.

OK, OK, we’ll get to the good stuff. It’s pretty simple, just open Google and search “Thanos.” You’ll notice a typical results page, with one tiny addition—an Infinity Gauntlet on the right side of the screen. On mobile, the Gauntlet will be on the banner right beneath the search box.

Look familiar? Well, if you want to take the next step and feel what it’s like to harness the power of the Infinity Stones, then we recommend you click it and watch the magic happen. But for convenience purposes we’ll break it down for you.

Snap! Once clicked, half the search results will disintegrate, just like the Avengers we lost in Infinity War—only this time it’s way less sad.

Oh, and one last thing. If you’re planning to see the film, we have two suggestions: Bring lots of tissues, and go to the bathroom beforehand. You won’t want to miss a second.
