Rami Malek Named Best Actor in a Dramatic Motion Picture at the 2019 Golden Globes

Someone just dethroned Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour) for a highly coveted honor.

During tonight’s 76th annual Golden Globe Awards, Rami Malek was honored with Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama for his role as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Other nominees included Bradley Cooper for A Star Is Born, Willem Defoe for At Eternity’s Gate, Lucas Hedges for Boy Erased and John David Washington for BlacKkKlansman.
