While the midseason promo for The Bachelorette teased an unexpected proposal, we can’t stop thinking about the drama that will ensue in tonight’s episode of the popular dating series—particularly in relation to Luke Parker’s beef with Garrett Powell, who appears to cross the line during his one-on-one date.

Here’s what you need to know: After last week’s episode of The Bachelorette, ABC teased a glimpse of what’s to come, and it appears Luke P. is setting his eyes on an all-new victim: Garrett. It all starts after Hannah Brown invites Garrett on a one-on-one date, where they bungee jump with minimal clothing. Luke P. has a problem with this, calling it a “slap in the face” before igniting the latest bit of drama on the ABC series.

Garrett is a PGA-certified professional golfer. He currently works at the Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club in Shoal Creek, Alabama, which is about an hour drive from Brown’s hometown of Tuscaloosa.

He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in golf management. (Surprise, surprise.)

According to his official Bachelorette bio, he “enjoys going to church, running and drinking beers with his friends” in his free time.

5. He Didn't Sign Up For The Show

Garrett’s bio also revealed that he didn’t sign himself up for the show. In fact, his sister-in-law filled out an application after noting “so many similarities between him and Hannah.”
