Sword Swallowers, Harpists and Fire Dancers: These ‘Game of Thrones’ Party Ideas Are Out of This Kingdom

You’ve always wanted to throw a party like the Freys (well, not quite), but you may lose your chance if you don’t act soon.

The final season of Game of Thrones premieres on April 14, meaning you have just enough time to throw that epic watch-party bash you’ve dreamed about but never gotten around to planning.

Instead of hitting a wall again this year (get it?), you can use a party-planning site for securing everything from invites to bartenders so you don’t even have to lift a Littlefinger.

The Bash (one such party-planning site) shared a few ideas for the most epic Game of Thrones party of the century. Our favorites? A sword swallower (yes, this is a real person you can book online), a harpist (the same one who played during the season three promo) and a fire dancer (possibly clear this with your landlord first?).

While The Bash is currently only focused on NYC bookings for now, the site has plans to roll out nationwide soon. But can you imagine anything more season-eight-worthy than a freakin' fire dancer?

You’ll also need some Game of Thrones–inspired recipes (Dragon deviled eggs, anyone?), a sigil banner and hand of the king bottle opener, and some on-theme paper goods.

And once everything’s booked, just sit back on your Iron Throne as King or Queen Hostess, and let the Wildlings—er, your co-workers—in on the festivities. You’ll be the talk of Westeros by Monday.
