Perhaps that's why Gabrielle Union decided to switch up her hairstyle, who had most recently rocked long waist-length braids.
Union, first-time mom to daughter Kaavia James (born via surrogate last November), just debuted her new choppy natural 'do on Instagram…and it's inspiring us to take the plunge and chop it all off for summer.
"New cut, who dis?" the Being Mary Jane actress captioned the Instagram slideshow (click the white arrow on the Instagram above to see all four photos). "Cut by @larryjarahsims, makeup by me/@fentybeauty," Union added, and brava for this fresh-faced look. Also, can we talk about her #flawless complexion? Her skin is absolutely gorg.
And she proved that a short shaggy style can still be versatile. Earlier today, Union posted a picture at a photo call for her new Spectrum TV show called L.A.'s Finest. She wore the new short chin-length style in a bumped and teased updo with a headband.
