Erin Foster is officially off the market, gentlemen.
The 36-year-old Barely Famous star announced today via Instagram that her boyfriend of over a year, entrepreneur Simon Tikhman, popped the question. Foster shared the news in the most on-brand way possible—with a pithy joke.
“How on earth did I pull this off,” she captioned a photo of herself holding roses and looking gobsmacked. She added an engagement ring emoji as a little tease, but no close-up of the ring just yet.
Her sister, Sara Foster, did however share a close-up of the stunning oval-shaped sparkler. Obviously, we immediately zoomed in.
Following her sister’s lead, Sara joked, “Ladies, i guess the moral of the story is stay crazy because apparently it gets you a ring,” adding the ring emoji and tagging Erin.
By “crazy,” we can’t help but wonder if Sara is referencing Erin’s humming, which Sara recently revealed drives her nuts when the sisters stopped by PureWow for a game of “What the Blank.” (Watch below to find out how well they really know each other.)
Clearly, Tikhman was undeterred by Erin’s apparently problematic humming. It appears he asked for her hand in marriage during a trip to Napa Valley Reserve, where they gathered with family and friends.
The couple also recently jetted off on a romantic trip to Italy, where Foster joked, “This man took me to Italy for two weeks and didn’t propose,” in an Instagram caption.
Guess he got the hint.
