Emma Stone Just Met Her Favorite Spice Girl—Any Guesses?
It’s no secret that Emma Stone is the ultimate Spice Girls fan. So, naturally, the girl group went out of their way to provide the 30-year-old actress with an unforgettable concert experience.
In honor of the band’s reunion tour, Stone recently traveled to the U.K. and met her favorite Spice Girl, Baby Spice (aka Emma Bunton). The “Wannabe” singer, 43, documented the moment on her personal Instagram account, sharing a slideshow of photos featuring the moment 2 became 1.
Bunton captioned the post, “When Emma met Emma. #2become1”
Stone is a longtime fan of the British girl group, particularly Baby Spice. In fact, The Favourite star previously appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and revealed the Spice Girls inspired a name change.
“I was super blonde, and my real name is Emily, but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice and guess what, now I am,” she said, referring to her stage name: Emma Stone.
The actress went on to explain that her obsession wasn’t a secret from her friends and family, adding, “In second grade, did I go up to the teacher and ask her to call me Emma? Yes, I did. And was it because of Emma Lee Bunton from the Spice Girls? Yes, it was.”
This is just too much. (Sorry, had to.)
