New York City is home to some pretty incredible (and viral-worthy) wildlife. First there was the pizza rat, then Central Park’s handsome mandarin duck and now…the egg roll squirrel.
This little guy won the hearts of internet users when he was caught egg-roll-handed (sorry, we had to) Wednesday by Twitter account WhatIsNewYork. The seven-second clip captioned, “Doesn’t look like this squirrels first egg roll,” gained so much attention that it acquired more than 75,000 views in less than a day.
And the caption isn’t wrong—this hungry squirrel definitely looks like he eats well in the Big Apple. We’d choose egg rolls over nuts any day.
