On Sunday evening, an anonymous Instagram account, @world_record_egg, set out with the intent to break the record of most-liked Instagram post (then held by Kylie Jenner’s birth announcement).
The post in question? Yep, an egg. (Don’t ask why—this is the internet.)
The caption read, “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this.”
Now at 30.2 million likes (and counting), consider the record very broken. The account currently has 3.6 million followers.
And how is Kylie faring? Well…
