Another day, another surprise celebrity wedding.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson just revealed that he tied the knot with his longtime partner, Lauren Hashian, over the weekend in Hawaii. The Rampage star, 47, announced the exciting news on his personal Instagram account and shared a slideshow of photos taken moments after they said, “I do.”
The first pic features the newlyweds with the hugest smiles, while the second shows Johnson kissing his new bride. He captioned the post, “We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed).”
During the ceremony, Hashian wore the Dara wedding gown by Mira Zwillinger, which features an open back, a plunging neckline and an embroidered lace overlay. (The dress retails for a whopping $12,540.)
Johnson and Hashian met in the early 2000s and immediately hit it off. In 2015, they welcomed their first daughter together, Jasmine, followed by their second, Tiana, in 2018. The actor also has another child, Simone (18), from his previous marriage with Dany Garcia.
Back in July 2018, Johnson told Entertainment Tonight that he was in no rush to get married. “I just refer to her as my wife all the time. So, a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, did you get married?’” he said. “I’m like, ‘No. Easy. Don’t rush big daddy.’”
Still, Mr. and Mrs. Rock has an awfully nice ring to it, don’t you think?
