Disney should win a Grammy, because they’ve just made our night with all these new trailers.
First, it was Aladdin. Then, Walt Disney Studios released a new trailer for the live-action remake of childhood classic Dumbo. The Tim Burton–directed flick offers a sneak peek at the major casting lineup. Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell), and his two children, Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) train Dumbo to be the next best circus superstar…that is, until Michael Keaton as the evil owner has something to do with it.
The movie also stars Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Eva Green (Casino Royale) and Alan Arkin (Argo).
The movie got its first full-length trailer in November. And while it seems Burton (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland) is pretty much sticking to the original story line, once you get past all the (a tad creepy) CGI, this flying elephant saga will be a guaranteed tearjerker.
The movie will soar into theaters March 29, 2019. So, yeah, start forwarding all our mail to the movie theater. We’re never leaving.
