The Puppies' Princess! Someone’s Dog Just Jumped on Kate Middleton, and She Handled It Like a Pro

Dog-whisperer Prince Harry is probably *so* jealous of his sister-in-law right now.

Duchess Kate Middleton proved he’s not the only one with puppy powers today during her visit to London’s Lavender Primary School in support of Children’s Mental Health Week. And while there were singing children outside the school to greet Middleton, there was one special furry friend that gave the warmest (and, um, wettest) welcome.

Herbie the cockapoo serves as the school's dog, and gave a royally warm reception to the visiting duchess.

Middleton, who knelt down to pet Herbie, has a cocker spaniel named Lupo with Prince William. (And we're guessing enthusiastic Herbie caught a whiff of Lupo as he jumped up on the Duchess of Cambridge.)

The duchess donned a bright-green Eponine London dress, black tights and black lace-up heeled ankle boots by L.K. Bennett.

Middleton wore her hair in her signature bouncy blowout, and Herbie couldn't help but rub his face all up in her hair, which the duchess handled like a pro.

Wonder if Lupo would get jealous if he knew... (It was for a charity, we swear!)
