The New ‘Dirty John’ TV Series Teaser Leaves Much to Be Desired

There are two sides to every story. At least that’s what Bravo’s new teaser for Dirty John seems to convey.

The “first look” of the much anticipated true-crime podcast adaptation just dropped, and it doesn’t really give us anything to look at…other than an idyllic beach that bears a suspicious resemblance to the one from Laguna Beach.

Set to a cover of the Tammy Wynette song “Stand by Your Man,” the Dirty John teaser flashes the words “Love, lies, hope, hate, family, fear, true and terror” onscreen and announces the series is “coming soon.”

Connie Britton stars in the show as successful interior designer Debra Newell, who famously fell for a charming (fake) doctor named John Meehan (Eric Bana). Long story short, he made her life a living hell.

Now we wait for a more substantive trailer so we can decide if we’re excited.
