Danielle Brooks & Her Baby Bump Won the ‘Orange Is the New Black’ Premiere Red Carpet

Danielle Brooks just changed the whole maternity style game.

The 29-year-old mom-to-be hit the Orange Is the New Black final season premiere red carpet in New York shining bright like a true to life diamond. Brooks, who plays Taystee on the long-running Netflix series, celebrated the show’s final bow in a dazzling custom silver sequin tuxedo jacket and mock-neck long-sleeve Christian Siriano gown that left us in awe.

Not only did Brooks accessorize her baby bump with all the sequins, but she also donned a very Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady–esque wide-brimmed Sarah Sokol Millinery hat with a sequin sash that elevated the ensemble even more.

She paired the dramatic topper with an old-Hollywood-inspired low bun, smoky gunmetal statement eyes, a white coffin shape mani and a Cartier ring and earrings. When she eventually took her amazing topper off, she revealed a slew of equally dazzling (and very trendy) barrettes. Suffice it to say, she looked incredible throughout the entire evening.

Brooks served up the look with the above Instagram pic and captioned it, “Pregnant and fabulous.” She also thanked Siriano for his custom creation.

If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen Brooks walk the carpet with her bump before, it’s because the OITNB star only announced her pregnancy earlier this month on Instagram. She revealed the exciting news with a selfie she snapped while holding a positive pregnancy test and captioned it, “So elated to finally share this news with you all. I’m happily pregnant!”

Now, her bun in the oven is all glammed up and quickly becoming a red carpet vet. All we can say is like mother, like baby.
