Ever since Dakota Johnson starred as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, the 29-year-old actress became widely known for the signature space between her two front teeth. Well, not anymore.
Earlier this week, Johnson attended a Los Angeles screening for Peanut Butter Falcon and flashed a pearly white smile with no spaces, low-key confirming that she had dental work.
Before the adjustment, Johnson regularly hid her teeth, posing with a consistently tight-lipped mouth. However, the Peanut Butter Falcon premiere was an entirely different story.
The actress looked confident as she showed off her new smile for photographers. Johnson wore a black embellished minidress from Saint Laurent, featuring a well-placed bow tied around her neck.
Although Johnson didn’t officially confirm exactly how her smile changed, we’re a tad surprised that she decided to close her signature gap. In a previous interview with Vanity Fair, she revealed that her hidden talent is sticking small objects between her teeth, including a credit card, a cherry stem and cold hard cash.
Gap or no gap, her confidence says it all.
