The incredibly lucky soul who actually lands this job will have the official title of CEO, or Cancún Experience Officer (ha), and will be required to document and share their adventures through blog posts, videos and social media. The listing describes the ideal applicant as someone who is social media savvy, can produce high-quality work and has a fun, relatable vibe. Bonus: No formal experience as a brand ambassador, blogger or travel writer is necessary.
If being the CEO sounds like your perfect job (but really, who wouldn’t want to do this?), you have until December 17 to produce a one-minute video to accompany the general application form. The top 100 candidates will be notified later that month and will continue to be whittled down until January, when the final five will be flown to Cancún for one last chance to nail the gig.
It couldn’t hurt to start taste-testing every margarita you can find. You know, as practice for your new beachfront life.
