Kensington Palace Just Responded to Camila Cabello’s Confession About Stealing a Pencil from the Royals

Camila Cabello just apologized to Prince William and Kate Middleton after getting dared to steal something from Kensington Palace, and the royal family responded.

The 22-year-old singer recently sat down for a radio interview with BBC host Greg James, where she discussed her visit to the royal grounds last month. Cabello admitted that James dared her to steal a pencil from Kensington Palace, and she hesitantly obliged.

“And I was like, ‘You triple-doggy-dare me?’ And you can’t not do a triple-doggy-dare. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my life, it’s that. So, I did it,” she said.

Things took an interesting turn when James tattled on Cabello to a Kensington Palace staff member. “You, to one of the palace people, called me out on it and were like, ‘She stole a pencil!’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my god.’ And I put it in my mom’s purse, and my mom was like, ‘No, we have to give it back. We have to give back the pencil,’” she added.

Despite her mom’s advice, Cabello ended up keeping the souvenir, which she still has to this day. “So, I’m sorry. I still have it,” she said. “I’m sorry William, and I’m sorry Kate.”

It didn’t take long for Kensington Palace to respond to Cabello’s confession. The royal family’s official account re-shared the interview on Twitter and captioned the post with a simple eyes emoji.

Fingers crossed there’s no warrant out for Cabello’s arrest. (Kidding…sorta.)
