Bindi Irwin is totally glowing in this all-new pregnancy update.
The Wildlife Warrior, 22, recently debuted her growing baby bump on her personal Instagram account. In the photo—which was taken by her mom, Terri—Irwin is wearing a black tank top as she cradles her pregnant belly.
She captioned the post, “My beautiful mum took this photo yesterday. Baby girl is doing great. Every time we get an ultrasound she’s incredibly energetic and always moving around. She’s now about the same size as a mountain pygmy-possum. Too cute!”
We first learned that Irwin is expecting her first child with her husband, Chandler Powell, back in August. She announced the exciting news on Instagram and wrote, “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you.”
The news came just a few months after Irwin and Powell tied the knot in an intimate wedding at Australia Zoo. Although they were supposed to exchange vows in front of a large group of friends and family, they opted for a smaller ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Irwin shared a photo from the nuptials on Instagram and wrote, “March 25th 2020 [heart emoji] We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend. There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now. We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding. This was a very difficult decision but important to keep everyone safe. We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however it’s lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos.”
We’re already looking forward to seeing the baby’s first khaki getup.
