OK, You Must Watch This Vid of Beyoncé Singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Diana Ross

What’s the best way to celebrate your 75th birthday? If you ask Diana Ross, it’s with a surprise performance by Beyoncé, of course.

The legendary Motown singer rung in her big day Tuesday night, with a star-studded gathering at the Hollywood club, Warwick. In attendance were members of Diana’s large family (daughter Tracee Ellis Ross, son Evan Ross, and daughter-in-law Ashlee Simpson) plus tons of other celebs like Sean “Diddy” Combs, DJ Khalid, French Montana, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian.

But when it came time for the cake (which was massive, might we add) and to sing “Happy Birthday,” Tracee was quick to look for a certain someone in the crowd to lead the song: Queen Bey.

“Beyoncé? Are you still here?” Tracee asked mid speech. “Do you want to sing ‘Happy Birthday’? Come on down!”

And Beyoncé did just that. The 37-year-old singer delivered a gorgeous (duh) a cappella version of the tune. And thank goodness the legendary moment of one icon serenading another was captured on social media by the attendees—in this case, Khloe Kardashian’s Instagram story. (Thank you, Khloé.)

We have to say, a 75th birthday never sounded so sweet, Miss Ross.
