Drop everything you’re doing: Anna Faris was just photographed with a massive ring on that finger.
In the brand-new pics, the 42-year-old actress can be seen wearing what appears to be an engagement ring from her beau, cinematographer Michael Barrett. Although she hasn’t confirmed the rumored proposal, here’s everything we know about Faris’s supposed engagement ring.
According to Kathryn Money—vice president of strategy and merchandising for Brilliant Earth—the ring is an estimated three carats.
The accessory features a yellow cushion-cut diamond, which is surrounded by a halo of gems. The sparkler is set on a white gold or platinum band.
As Money points out, Faris’s new ring is worth an estimated $25,000 to $50,000. Cha-ching!
Don’t be surprised if you start seeing more cushion-cut engagement rings, because the popular trend is on the rise.
“Anna’s ring is aligned with one trend that we’re continuing to see rise in popularity: fancy-shaped diamonds,” Money said. “Fancy cut (non-round) diamonds such as cushions have been an increasingly popular center stone choice among celebs and everyday brides-to-be alike.”
