Angelina Jolie Has Rare Red Carpet Outing with Daughter Zahara

Angelina Jolie has really been making waves recently. First, the 46-year-old actress joined Instagram with a powerful first post, and now, she's made a rare red carpet appearance with her oldest daughter, Zahara (16), by her side.

The two were seen together at Variety's Power of Women event, where Jolie sported a tiered, caramel-colored gown with pleats from Harith Hashim, while Zahara rocked an eggshell-white jumpsuit with a chunky belt in the middle.

While on the red carpet, the pair were seen holding hands and hugging as they smiled for the cameras.

While stunning in these monochromatic outfits, the mom-and-daughter duo were joined by some fellow celebs on the red carpet, one of whom Jolie highlighted in a post on her Instagram.

Jolie and Zahara were joined by poet Amanda Gorman, who donned a hot pink spaghetti strap gown. The three were seen in a photo shared by Jolie, where she said, “I was honored - and nervous - to introduce the amazing poet @amandascgorman the other night at the Variety Power of Women Awards event.”

She quoted Gorman in the rest of her caption, saying, “Tap the link in my bio to see her read her new poem, ‘We Rise,’ honoring ‘These women who stand up / knowing the wind / Not by where it is, but where it is blowing / Leading worlds not by how society is / But where change is going.’”

Gorman thanked Jolie on her Instagram Story, where she posted a shot of herself with the actress and her daughter, and said, “Thank you so much @angelinajolie for your incredible introduction!”

Nothing like a casual night out with your mom.
