Amy Schumer Had Some Choice Words (and a Revealing Photo) for All the Mom-Shamers Out There

Amy Schumer welcomed her first child, Gene Attell Fischer, on May 5. A mere two weeks later, the 37-year-old comedian went back to work. Naturally, the internet had opinions to share with her. Spoiler: A lot of them weren't so nice. (We'll spare you the nitty-gritty.)

But in response to her mom-shamers, Schumer just posted an Instagram photo and caption that effectively shut them all down.

Not one for sugarcoating things, Schumer is smiling-slash-tired as she pumps. She captioned it, “Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night! #tinystairs #schumerpumprules”

Schumer made her return performing at The Comedy Cellar in New York City on Monday night, after a pregnancy she herself described as “really tough.” And since the birth of her son, she's been equally open and honest about new motherhood. To give you a taste: A recent Instagram of her pumping was hashtagged "outfit of the day."

But our favorite Schumer soundbite so far? “Women are the shit,” she said on Instagram. “Men are cool and whatever but women are fucking warriors and capable of anything.” We concur.
