‘American Horror Story’ Season 8 Will Be a Crossover Between These 2 Seasons

Ryan Murphy revealed the theme for season eight of American Horror Story, and it’s even better than expected.

It’s been three days since Murphy revealed that the upcoming season is the creepiest to date, and now he took to Twitter to announce the eighth installment will be a crossover between—wait for it—Murder House (season one) and Coven (season three).

He wrote, “The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won’t be happening next year…because it’s happening THIS YEAR. AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER”

Murder House premiered in 2011 and featured an unlucky family living in a haunted home in Los Angeles, while Coven aired in 2013 and followed a New Orleans school for witches.

Although we don’t know how the two shows will intersect in the forthcoming season, we do know AHS alums Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who starred in both Murder House and Coven, are confirmed to appear in the eighth installment.

One question still remains: Where art thou, Connie Britton?
