Well, hello, Adele!
After an almost six-month hiatus, the “Someone Like You” singer just made her big return to Instagram and blew followers away with a stunning new photo in honor of her birthday. The Grammy award winner turned 32 on Tuesday, May 5, and shared her appreciation for fans (and essential workers) with a photograph of herself sporting a dramatic new look.
“Thank you for the birthday love,” she captioned the post. “I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time. I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels. 2020 okay bye thanks.”
The comments section was quickly flooded with kind words and birthday wishes, including some from our other favorite celebs. “I mean are you kidding me,” wrote Chrissy Teigen (our sentiments exactly). Rita Wilson added, “Happy Birthday, Adele. Sending you so much love! Looking gorgeous!”
This is Adele’s first post on social media since showing off her slimmed-down figure in a snap from her Christmas party last year. The pop star has been staying out of the spotlight as much as possible, however, rumors about new music have been swirling since the beginning of the year.
Happy birthday, Adele! 32 seriously has never looked so good.
