It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas…because a holiday-themed version of A Cinderella Story is on its way.

Yes, we know it's still 80 degrees outside, but Warner Bros. Home Entertainment just released major details about its fifth film in the Cinderella Story franchise, A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish.

If you didn’t know, the franchise retells the classic tale of Cinderella with a modern twist. The series began with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray in 2004, and has gone on to release three more films, starring Selena Gomez (Another Cinderella Story), Lucy Hale (A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song) and Sofia Carson (A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits).

Here’s what we know about the newest installment:

Who Is In It?

The film stars Laura Marano (The Perfect Date) and Gregg Sulkin (Wizards of Waverly Place) in the leading roles and also features Johannah Newmarch (Sunflower Hour), Chanelle Peloso (Zapped), Lillian Doucet-Roche (The Miracle Season) and Barclay Hope (Riverdale). Michelle Johnston (who choreographed the previous four movies and served as a producer on the last three) is taking the directorial reins for this one.

What's The Plot?

The latest film (and only holiday-themed of the franchise) follows Kat Decker, an aspiring singer/songwriter with a cruel stepfamily. Thanks to her seasonal gig as a singing elf at a holiday fair called Santaland, she meets a handsome prince—err, Santa—named Nick. When Kat is invited to the prestigious Wintergarden Christmas Gala, her jealous stepfamily tries to derail her happiness.

When Does It Come Out?

There’s no official release date yet, but A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish, will premiere this fall. In the meantime, you can watch the exclusive Entertainment Weekly trailer here.
