We're going to be honest here; we aren’t totally sure if we’ve been stuck inside of our apartments for so long that we’ve lost sense of what is actually considered “fun,” but we’ve really taken a shine to cleaning these days.

After seeing all of the hype surrounding The Pink Stuff on TikTok, a cotton candy colored putty that removes stubborn stains and grime like magic, we knew we had to get our hands on some. Described as, “A tough cleaning paste that is gentle on surfaces but tough on stains” and “ideal for cleaning saucepans, barbecues, ceramic tiles and much more,” The Pink Stuff is a great multi-purpose cleaner in a fun color.

Well, that all sounded too good to be true, so our very own Audience Development Strategist, Ali Brown, decided to put the pink slime to the test. “One of my initial thoughts was that it smelled much more pleasant than other cleaners,” said Brown. “And it immediately got a mark out of my pan that I had been trying to get rid of for weeks,” she adds.

Another selling point is that there are no harsh chemicals in the formula (which explains the gentle scent). That’s right. It’s all natural with ingredients like baking soda, sodium silicate, quartz, and soap to do the heavy lifting.

And while it’s certainly no trip to Disney World, Brown found that cleaning with The Pink Stuff made the chore as easy and as close to fun as housework is ever gonna get. Need proof The Pink Stuff erases stains like magic? See it in action below if you don’t believe us.

Pros:

  • Natural ingredients
  • Smells pleasant
  • Easily removes stains
  • It’s pink!

Cons:

  • Not sold in many U.S.stores
  • Even though it looks like strawberry ice cream, you can’t eat it. Kidding! (Sort of)
