Once Memorial Day hits, we take every advantage to be outside. Concerts in the park, excursions to the beach and picnics on rooftops are in constant rotation. But, with public benches and tables that often fill up immediately, sitting on the ground is not ideal.
So when we spotted the colorful Chillbo Baggins Inflatable Lounger in the middle of Central Park, we couldn’t help but be intrigued. Touted as a “hammock air sofa,” this lounger falls somewhere between a couch and a pool float in texture. It feels somewhat uncomfortable as you’re finding your position, but once you’re settled, it feels like air.
And that makes sense because, well, air is the only thing needed to inflate it. You simply hold either side of it and quickly “scoop” air twice to fully inflate it. You can lay on it horizontally alone, share it with up to three friends like a couch or even toss it in the pool as a float.
Let’s just say your days of towels in the sand are numbered.
