It’s no secret that the French do cheese better than most, but raclette might just eclipse all others to take the top spot. Why, you ask? Because a mountain of melted cheese oozes onto your plate and all over your dinner, that's why. Here's how to make it at home.
Step 1: Position your raclette inside the melting machine. The heating lamp will slowly melt the side of the cheese to ooey-gooey perfection.
Step 2: Move the cheese away from the heat lamp, then use a knife to ease the melted cheese onto a waiting plate of bread, nuts, meats or fruit.
Step 3: Eat while the cheese is still hot. It's life-changing.
