The Best 3-Ingredient Pancake Recipe Ever

Breakfast doesn't have to be a production

We’re all about a long, extravagant brunch that’s just begging to be Instagrammed, but sometimes we’re in the mood for a quicker morning meal that doesn’t require slaving away. That’s why we’re obsessed with these three-ingredient pancakes that are so easy to make.

The ingredients: One banana, one egg, one tablespoon of almond butter (or any nut butter) and coconut oil (or any neutral cooking oil).

The prep: In a small bowl, mash the banana with a fork. Next, stir in the egg and almond butter. (Note: You could also combine all of the whole ingredients in a blender, but who can be bothered with that bulky cleanup?)

The execution: Heat a tablespoon of coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Drop small portions of the banana mixture onto the heated skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side (until golden brown).

That’s literally it. Easy, delicious and healthy. Bon appétit.
