PureWow readers and editors love Everlane for its chic and timely designs and styles, but this major news gives us all even more to love. Everlane just dropped its cleanest denim ever (!) and it’s a pretty big deal.

This may not be common knowledge, but most denim is made of cotton with toxic pesticides (often including elastane yarn) that pollutes the earth—Everlane is doing its part to change that. In 2017, the brand made a commitment to do things differently when it came to their denim factory. Today, the brand debuted its lowest impact denim featuring its special Roica V550 yarn. (BTW, this is the first stretch yarn that isn’t made with harmful chemicals). The brand is also using microplastic-free dyes and recycled trim along with the innovative fabric, making it one of the first companies to make denim that isn't totally bad for the planet.

Anyway, we know you're dying to know the new styles that dropped today, so here they are: The Way High Baggy Jean, The Modern Icon Jacket, and The Way High Short. FYI: these three pieces are made of organic GOTS cotton fabric and the Roica yarn that we mentioned. You'll still have the same stretchy feel that you love when you wear them—plus, you'll look amazing. What are we buying? Definitely all three, but we're loving the high-waisted shorts, which came just in time for summer. They accentuate your waist and give you legs for days.

Alright, GTG, we're making room for our *clean* denim.
