Paris Hilton Gets Candid on Her Wedding & Her First Kiss with Carter: ‘I Get What I Want’

She added, “I know that sounds corny, but…it was like we've known each other so long that as soon as we kissed it was like these electric bolts shooting through and it just felt amazing.” She said to Carter, “And I don't know, I just wanted to kiss you forever.”

Carter also knew Paris was the one after that first kiss and started thinking about a proposal. “Well when Paris Hilton kisses you, you kind of start dreaming of it right away, right? You kind of start dreaming about forever. But we got to know each other very quickly because we were inseparable. And so we were immediately talking about what forever would look like and our future and then it was not shortly thereafter, I said okay, I got to start thinking about proposing because if you're going to propose to Paris it can't suck basically, right? So I had to do something special and so I started planning and it worked out perfectly.”

As viewers of the show well know, their wedding was definitely special. And even with the pressure of planning the elaborate event, which took place over several days in different locations around Los Angeles, Paris said she would still do it again but try to avoid some of the stress.

“I would love to renew our vows and do it again, just to not have all the stress because I feel when you're a bride it’s important to not stress. It's one of the most important days of your life…it's good just to like take it all in. And with me I was just stressing out so much. And then by the end of it, I was like, Oh, I wish I would have just been, I don't know, in the moment more, not worrying about other people.”

As for her favorite party of the days-long affair? “All of them were amazing. Obviously, the first night, getting married on 11/11 is such a special day for me and being able to do it at my grandfather's old estate. Because that was always a dream of mine since I was a little girl.” She added, “That was the most romantic night of my life.”

“And then the most fun night was definitely the Neon Carnival that we did at the Santa Monica Pier and wearing that neon pink kind of like Barbie raver dress was pretty amazing. And we just had so much fun,” she continued.

She added, “I used to have to go out all the time but now I feel like when you find your one in your home…you don't need to go out and look for anyone because you have it.”

Carter, a successful entrepreneur himself, recalled his line at the wedding where he said, “Today there's a lot of happiness but nightclubs around the world are mourning the loss of a legend.” He added, “Now she spends time like last week at the White House and Capitol Hill instead of nightclubs. Pretty amazing.”

She’s got a true partner with whatever she sets her mind to in Carter who said, “You know what I love about Paris is she's kind, clearly beautiful, smart, and pretty silly and fun in a great way so I feel like I found the perfect, perfect Wifey for Lifey!”

And if she ever needs help and support in addition to Carter, she says she can turn to her mom, dad and especially her sister, Nicky, who has always been there for her. Paris said that she always looked up to Nicky who was the strict one, “But I need someone like that around me who can tell me no and tell me how it is and say the truth and Nicky is like that and she's so protective of me and when I've had some certain girls come into my life and things like that, she always can see through people right away...She likes to keep out the bad people ‘cause unfortunately in this town there's a lot of people that don't have the best intentions sometimes.”

Paris says this is all just the beginning of what’s to come in her new life with Carter.

Oh, and when asked who made the first move on that first kiss? “Me,” she said smiling as the audience laughed and cheered.

Carter then asked what she always says after telling people she made the first move. Proudly she answered, “I get what I want!”
