Netflix Just Dropped a New Trailer for ‘Haunted’ Season 3 & It's Seriously Terrifying

On October 19, 2018, Netflix introduced the world to Haunted, a new anthology series that's spooky enough to cause nightmares. Fast-forward to 2021 and, after its massive success, the streaming service is just weeks away from premiering their highly-anticipated third season.

Luckily for fans, Netflix recently released a brand-new trailer and, TBH, it's already freaking us out. Think we're overreacting? Just wait until you watch it below.

According to Netflix's official synopsis, Haunted gives "a chilling glimpse into the first-person accounts from people who have witnessed horrifying, peculiar, extraordinary supernatural events and other unexplained phenomenons that continue to haunt them." And in case you're wondering what that means, think evil cults, demonic cats and haunted homes.

Like in previous seasons, the third will have a total of six 20 to 30-minute episodes, each of which will focus on a different story told by different people. Jan Pavlacky directed the series, while Brett-Patrick Jenkins, Howard T. Owens, Jordan Roberts and Ben Silverman served as executive producers.

Fans on social media have been quite vocal about the bone-chilling series. For instance, on Twitter, one fan wrote, "Haunted on Netflix = some f@&ked up true stories. Ahh well sleeping with the lights on tonight." Another fan tweeted, "S3 of Haunted is coming back to Netflix and I’m just thinking about the time I watched S1 & 2 getting scarred by legit almost everyone’s story."

Season three is set to premiere on Netflix on May 14.
