Relax and Recharge with This Super-Easy DIY Lavender Bath Salt

Don't underestimate the power of a mineral-rich soak to revive and rejuvenate after a long day. If you don't have a natural hot spring in your backyard, no problem—you can easily turn your own bathtub into a relaxing spa with some homemade lavender scented bath salts. Here's the super-easy way to make it yourself.

What You Need:
 - 3 cups Epsom salt
 - 2 cups sea salt
 - ½ ounce lavender oil
 - food coloring

Step 1: Combine the Epsom and sea salts in a large bowl.

Step 2: Pour in the lavender oil and mix until totally incorporated. Pro tip: Use your hands to really get in there and ensure that everything is well combined.

Step 3: Pour half the mixture into a separate bowl.

Step 4: Add 5 to 7 drops of food coloring to one bowl and stir until evenly distributed.

Step 5: Use a scooper or spoon to alternate pouring the colorful and plain mixtures into a mason jar.

Stow by your tub and sprinkle in ¼ cup next time you need some serious R&R.
