You came to Paris for many things: the bread, the cheese, the art, the Instagrams. Here, nine amazing places around the city to get your photo taken.
The 9 Best Places to Get Your Photo Taken in Paris
Oh, look--the Eiffel tower!
Pont De Bir-hakeim
This two-level iron bridge that connects the 15th and 16th arrondissements offers one of the most unique views of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower.
The colorful working-class neighborhood of Belleville is where you’ll find some of the most interesting public art the city. In the 20th arrondissement, Rue Dénoyez (aka street art alley) is an open-air gallery where windows, walls and doors serve as the canvas.
Pont Alexandre Iii
This decadent bridge, adorned with gilded sculptures and art nouveau lampposts, links the Champs-Élysées with the Left Bank. Add views of the Eiffel Tower and it’s easy to see why this is one of most popular places for wedding photos in the City of Light.
Head to artsy Montmartre, then take the 230-something steps up to the basilica’s dome to capture yourself in front of the best panoramic shot in the city.
Canal De L'ourcq
The quiet streets surrounding the Canal de l’Ourcq in the 19th arrondissement make up a graffiti mecca. Snap a pic among the colorful and constantly changing frescos and consider yourself the coolest lady in Paris.
Palais De Chaillot
Originally built for the 1878 World Fair, the Palais de Chaillot’s esplanade offers a pretty straight shot of the nearby Eiffel Tower. (Bonus points if you bring a hip, floppy hat.)
Pont Des Arts
Formerly the love-lock bridge, the Pont Des Art was recently stripped of its famous padlocks. Still, the famous bridge remains one of the most picturesque places to snap a photo of the sunset over the Seine.
This vibrant block in the 12th arrondissement--the most colorful (and undiscovered) in Paris--makes for one cheery Insta.
Place Des Vosges
It’s the oldest square in Paris. And it’s stunning at sunset.
