This New Subscription Service Is Like Spotify...for Wine

Forty Licks and a fruity Cab. The White Album and a dry Sauv. Bold as Love and a full-bodied Merlot. Nothing goes together quite like music and a good glass of vino.

That's why Virgin music's newest wine subscription might be the best thing to happen to us since, well, rock 'n' roll (not quite, but almost). Today, the iconic Virgin record label announced a partnership with DirectWines.com to deliver 12 bottles of wine paired with the perfectly curated playlists to sip them with.

There's a Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon, a juicy KISS Malbec and a special red blend inspired by The Police, according to a press release. The other nine bottles are an assortment from California, Washington, Italy, Spain and Argentina. Each bottle has its own soundtrack, available on Spotify and Virgin's blog that includes hits from Duran Duran, Guns N' Roses, Van Halen, Cream...you get the idea.

The news comes just in time for major music milestones of 2018: The 50th anniversary of both The Beatles album release and Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland album, and on the heels of The Rolling Stones' new U.S. tour announcement.

So, pick your Poison, because this jam sesh is guaranteed to be "Nothin' But a Good Time."
