‘Orange Is the New Black’ Star Uzo Aduba Just Signed on to ‘Fargo’ Season 4

Move over, Litchfield. Uzo Aduba is upgrading to Kansas City, Missouri.

That's right: Aduba, aka Crazy Eyes from Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, has signed on to the Coen brothers' Fargo for FX. While many of the details of her character is being kept quiet, we do know Aduba's character is named Zelmare Roulette, and she'll star alongside Chris Rock, Ben Whishaw, Jason Schwartzman and Jack Huston.

The fourth season of Fargo takes place in 1950s Kansas City and centers on two mob families (one African American, one Italian) who trade their youngest sons to keep the peace between the warring crime factions. Joel and Ethan Coen executive produce the FX series (the first three seasons of which are available on Hulu, FYI) based on their 1996 movie of the same name.

Aduba is also currently working on Mrs. America, where she'll star as historic presidential hopeful Shirley Chisholm, and Miss Virginia, an upcoming movie based on a true story about a struggling single mother.

Fargo is set to air in 2020. It's executive produced by the Coen brothers along with Noah Hawley (Legion), who also serves as showrunner and will make his feature film directorial debut with his upcoming movie, Lucy in the Sky, starring Natalie Portman as an astronaut.

Oh, and according to Deadline, Aduba's Fargo character's plot line includes that she just escaped from prison (Crazy Eyes, is that you?!). Coincidence? We think not…
