We’re Breaking Down All of the Swan’s Clues from Last Night’s Episode of ‘The Masked Singer’

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Welp, in the midst of this social distancing, one thing is for sure: The Masked Singer is the ideal distraction. And last night's episode did not disappoint. Last week, we said goodbye to the Bear, who turned out to be Former-Governor Sarah Palin.

On the latest episode, the remaining members of Group C, including Rino, Swan, Astronaut, T-Rex and Night Angel, battled it out for a spot in the top nine and, of course, there was another unmasking.

Joel McHale returned as a guest panelist, joining frenemy Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy.

First up was Astronaut, who covered Stevie Wonder's “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours,” followed by Night Angel (or “Angel of Death,” as McHale called her) who gave her rendition of Lady Gaga's “Million Reasons,” which really impressed the judges. Up next was T-Rex, who took things up a notch with a vibrant performance of Salt-N-Pepa's “Push It.”

Shortly after, Swan sang Joan Jett & The Blackhearts' “I Hate Myself for Loving You.” She ended her performance by declaring her love for Jeong. Last, but certainly not least, Rhino surprised the audience with an entertaining rendition of Niall Horan's “Nice to Meet Ya.”

And, now, the results. After the judges and audience voted for their favorite performers of the night, Swan was eliminated and revealed herself to be former Disney star Bella Thorne.

This week, we're breaking down Swan’s clues. For this particular character, we think the clues were pretty spot on—so much so that some viewers threw Thorne’s name into the running before her unmasking.

Some clues that pointed to Thorne included ones involving the movie Twilight and the television series Euphoria. For one, the Disney star's Masked Singer alter ego shares her name with the main character of the vampire franchise, Bella Swan. Ahh, now we get it. It’s also important to note that the 22-year-old starred alongside fellow actress Zendaya (who is the lead actress on HBO’s Euphoria) on the Disney show Shake it Up.

In this episode, Swan gave the Hangover actor a big “I love you,” and the unmasking made clear the connection between the two. The duo actually starred together in the 2015 teen rom-com The Duff.

During her clue package, she also revealed that she struggled financially before fame. “See, here's the tea: I know my life seems all new moons and rainbows, but I came from nothing.” The actress has been open about her financial struggles since her fame began. A shaker bottle was also seen in the clue package which was a reference to her Disney Channel show Shake it Up.

Even with all of these clues, the judges were unsuccessful with their guesses, which included Olivia Munn, Kristen Bell and Kristen Stewart (the real Bella Swan). Better luck next week!

The Masked Singer returns on Wednesday, March 25, at 8 p.m. PT/ET on Fox.
