Jenna Lyons Is Launching a New Show on HBOMax, in Case You Still Miss Her J.Crew Designs

We know (and love) Jenna Lyons from her time running J. Crew. But since she resigned back 2017, we’ve been wondering exactly her next venture would be. Turns out, she’s entering into the world of television with her own show on HBO Max.

Called, Stylish With Jenna Lyons, the series follows Lyons as she builds a new business focused on interior design, fashion, and beauty. The new show, which features eight episodes and is set to air on the streaming platform on November 26, is a mix between a reality competition and documentary.

While the fashion mogul tries to build and navigate her own biz, viewers will get to follow along as Lyons tests out a variety of creative associates, all vying for a permanent position on her team. "I'm not just creating a business, I'm creating a family,” she tells the associates in the trailer. “No pressure."

If you didn’t know, the 51-year-old stepped down from her role as president and executive creative director of J.Crew after 26 years with the company. And now it looks like she’s ready to start a new chapter of her life, with the whole world watching. While Lyons did announce the launch of Loveseen earlier this week, a faux eyelash brand that's unlike all the others out there, it's unclear if this company will be the focus of her new show.

“We want to try something new,” Lyons said in a press release.  “I want to build a story-driven, comprehensive resource for anyone to satisfy their personal style and help them make aesthetic choices. And we will bring that together with real-time entertainment with Kevin Reilly and the team at Turner, where I’ve found an inspiring and open-minded approach to thinking about commerce across multiple platforms.”

So yeah, you can say we’re excited.
