‘SNL’ Nails the Cold Hard Truth About Leggings in This Perfect Parody Commercial

Sure, leggings are meant for workouts, but Saturday Night Live knows what they’re really for: lounging.

Enter SNLs Nike commercial parody featuring Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Heidi Gardner and Melissa Villaseñor. Unlike other leggings that might have you thinking about hitting the gym, SNLs Pro-Chiller leggings are the optimal athleisure choice that work just as well in a HIIT class as they do during an eight-hour Netflix binge. And let’s be honest...we do a lot more of the latter.

When McKinnon sprawls out on the couch and proclaims, “Leggings can be used as pants, pajamas and a napkin,” we were like oh hell yes.

The greatest treasure of this way-too-relatable skit? Bryant’s genius “couch panini” (leggings plus a blanket and a laptop).

We’ve never been more inspired to just do it nothing.
