Ricky Martin is living la vida loca as a dad with his husband, Jwan Yosef. And now, after a seven-month wait, the married couple of one year finally revealed the first photo of their beautiful daughter, Lucia.
The 47-year-old American Crime Story star shared the snap of his and Yosef’s baby girl yesterday on Instagram. In the photo below, Lucia sits in Martin’s lap. Dressed for summer, the little one wears seersucker bloomers, a floral top and a navy blue bow in her little wisps of hair.
“La luz de mis ojos #Lucia” he captioned the post, which translates to “The light of my eyes” in Spanish.
Yosef, who’s a 34-year-old artist, shared the same image on his own Instagram. He wrote, “Baby Lucia Martin-Yosef being the LIGHT she is.”
This is the first time either of her parents have shown her face to the public, but we have to say it was totally worth the wait.
Lucia was born on December 24, 2018. In addition to being Christmas Eve, that also happens to be Martin’s birthday. He and Yosef announced the news of her birth via Instagram with a photo of her tiny hands. Martin captioned the image, “We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef. It has been a special time for us, and we can’t wait to see where this stellar baby will take us. Both her beautiful brothers and me and Jwan have fallen in love with Lucia.”
Lucia is Martin and Yosef’s third child together. They are also parents to 10-year-old twin boys, Matteo and Valentino, whom Martin welcomed via surrogate prior to their relationship.
