Reese Witherspoon's Instagram photo with her son is making us do a double take.
The Little Fires Everywhere actress recently shared a snap of herself with her son, Deacon (17), and from the looks of those matching smiles, it's clear that great genes run in the family. Witherspoon tagged her son and wrote, "Love him to the moon."
In the photo, the mother-son duo are seen posing outdoors. Witherspoon sports a wool cap and black hoodie while her son is wearing a checkered-sweater.
In the comments, fellow actress Selma Blair wrote, "Matching smiles. Love you." One fan also added, "Wow, No doubt!!!! Like mother, like son!!!"
This isn't the first times fans took notice of the uncanny resemblance between Deacon and his mom. In October, Witherspoon shared a photo of the teen in honor of his 17th birthday, and a follower said, "He's like the male version of you." Another wrote, "Now this is your twin....HE LOOKS JUST LIKE REESE."
While Deacon could certainly pass for his mom's doppelgänger, we've noticed that the budding musician also bears some resemblance to his father, Ryan Phillippe. In 2020, when his mom shared the promo image for his single, “Love for the Summer,” we saw that Deacon's nose and bone structure are very similar to his father's, proving that he got his stellar looks from both sides of the family. Witherspoon captioned the post, "Song of the Weekend! I think they call this a Bop or is it a Banger? A Bangin’ Bop? Help me out @deaconphillippe...Check out #LovefortheSummer."
Now all we need is a Deacon cameo in Reese's next show please.
