The Queer Eye Fab Five hosted the 28th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, and of course, they all brought their most fashionable selves to the A-list event. Antoni Porowski donned a chocolate brown tux, Tan France put on a groovy flared cream number, Jonathan Van Ness sported a glamorous cowl-neck gown, Karamo Brown wowed in a mustard suit and Bobby Berk wore a black suit with a sweeping train annnnd…what’s up with the eyeliner?

Hey, we’re all for pushing boundaries when it comes to fashion, especially on Oscars night. Why not have a little fun? We just didn’t realize that for some, it meant channeling Pete Wentz circa 2005.
After a deep dive on Instagram looking for a backstory, we noticed that the heavy-handed liner is actually more akin to a glam-rock smoky eye ~lewk~ than a mid-2000s emo-punk call for help. Phew.
In that case: Bobby, carry on. We love the look.
